Eligibility, plainly: you're a registered charity, not-for-profit, or recognised community-impact education provider in Australia. Places are limited, so expressing interest early helps — and after launch, places may be offered in limited cohorts. Already have grant, equity or technology funding earmarked for software? Is It Actually Free?
For selected providers, there is no software subscription cost within the approved program limits. Optional services such as migration, SMS credits, advanced AI usage, custom reports and enterprise integrations may be paid — but you never have to buy them.
How Is the Access Program Funded?
It's supported by Academyship's broader commercial model, limited cohorts, and — where relevant — provider-side grants, equity funding or technology funding. Paying customers fund the company; this program is how we keep good software within reach of the providers who need it most.
How Long Does Access Last?
Access is reviewed annually. Our goal is continuity, not surprise. If your eligibility or needs change, we'll provide clear notice and discuss a fair path forward.
What If We Grow Beyond the Allowance?
You can continue the conversation with us about a fair plan, a larger allowance, or a standard paid plan. Your data and setup should not need to restart.
Do We Need to Be an ACNC Charity?
ACNC or not-for-profit status helps verification, but recognised community-impact education providers may still submit an expression of interest.
Can For-Profit Providers Apply?
Usually no — unless there's a clear community-impact reason and limited commercial capacity. Standard Academyship plans are better suited to normal commercial providers.
Do You Support First Nations Providers?
Yes — but only through genuine consultation, respect and partnership. We don't want tokenistic participation. Providers can tell us what respectful engagement should look like.
Is Student Data Treated Differently for Access Program Providers?
No. Access Program providers receive the same seriousness around privacy, roles, data separation and security-minded workflows as every Academyship customer.
